Research
The project is at RTL3 today:
• Developed a functional mockup demonstrating PHOTONai's device functionality and clinical output, used to validate core use-cases with five Key Opinion Leaders
• Conducted structured interviews with 80 women to assess patient-side dissatisfaction, fear, and unmet need.
• Established formal collaborative partnerships with FHNW
• Completed the full technical design and architecture of the target device, including a complete Bill of Materials with all suppliers identified and priced —either from publicly listed vendor pricing or directly requested quotes where public pricing was unavailable.
• Completed technical and financial competitive analysis of existing point-of-care and research-grade imaging systems.
• Defined the project's full data strategy
• Filed a patent application covering the core sensor architecture and AI-driven layer segmentation method.
